Quint Slattery founded Symmetry Peak Management, LLC (“SPM”) in June 2003. From November of 2001 through October 2003, Mr. Slattery successfully managed a portion of his own money in a similar fashion to that which he has employed at SPM. Prior to this period, Mr. Slattery was a co-founder and General Partner of Azure Capital Partners LLC (“Azure”), an investment firm with a crossover and venture capital fund from July 2000 – July 2001. Prior to his tenure at Azure, Mr. Slattery was the Portfolio Manager of two mutual funds at Pilgrim Baxter & Associates (PBHG): the PBHG New Opportunities Fund and PBHG Select Equity Fund. He managed over $2.8 Billion. Mr. Slattery co-managed the PBHG New Opportunities Fund (PBNOX) from its launch in June 1998 and became its sole manager in February 1999. According to PBHG, the cumulative return for PBNOX from 6/30/98 – 4/7/00 was 892%* and the cumulative return while Mr. Slattery was the sole manager (2/12/99 – 4/7/00) was 616.8%*. Mr. Slattery was named the "One Year Winner" in the Wall Street Journal for the fifty-two week performance of the New Opportunities Fund for the period ending March 30, 2000. Additionally, Kiplinger's labeled the PBHG New Opportunities Fund "All-Time Champ" for its one-year performance, which, according to the magazine, was proclaimed by Morningstar to be "the highest one-year total return in fund history." Mr. Slattery managed the PBHG Select Equity Fund (PBHEX) from September 30, 1999 through April 7, 2000. During this period, the cumulative return for PBHEX was 206.6%*. Prior to assuming his role as Portfolio Manager, Mr. Slattery worked as an analyst at Pilgrim Baxter starting in November 1997. Mr. Slattery began his career in Merrill Lynch’s Investment Banking business in 1996. He graduated with an A.B. degree from Princeton University, where he also was a member of the 1992 Princeton University National Championship Lacrosse Team.
