Mr. Nanula bought Arnold Palmer Golf Management in 1993 and served as CEO through 2000, during which time he built the company into a leading owner-operator of golf courses nationwide with 30 golf courses and 2,000 employees. 

He is also a Managing Director at Freestone Capital Management, a $2.7 billion wealth management and asset management firm, in charge of the firm's private equity investments. Mr. Nanula began his private equity career at Warburg Pincus, one of the world’s largest private equity firms with $30 billion under management, and was previously an attorney at O'Melveny & Myers. He earned undergraduate and law degrees from Harvard University.
