Mr. McGregor has over 30 years of technology business experience including executive positions in M&A, private equity, sales, marketing, R&D and operations. Roughly 7 years ago, Rational Equity purchased WebEquity Solutions, a boutique SaaS agriculture lending software system. Under his leadership, Mr. McGregor led the company from a relative unknown to the number one SaaS commercial lending enterprise system in the United States. In July of 2014, WebEquity was purchased by Moody's Corporation.

Prior to Rational Equity, Mr. McGregor led Global Mergers & Acquisitions within SoftBrands, Inc., a $100M public software company. Doug was Global Vice President/General Manager for Epicor Software, a $350M public company. He founded, built and sold his own company, Athletic Technologies, Inc., a software company serving the recreation industry. Early in his career, Doug gained extensive software R&D experience during his 10 years at Unisys Corporation where he led several large highly successful development projects. 

Mr. McGregor earned his BS in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota and is a frequent guest lecturer in the MBA program at the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, MN.
